Bibliometric analysis studies are carried out in TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM Cahit Arf Information Center, in order to determine Turkey’s contribution to the scientific literature in the world and its place in the international scientific publication lists. These studies include making comparisons by countries or by branches of research; gathering data on Turkey’s contribution to universal science and other issues such as international joint authoring; and determining the ratio of public and private sector in scientific publication production; atdifferent year intervals and cumulatively.
